Tally is an accounting software developed by

late S.S Geonka in 1986.

there are three types of accounts.

Personal Account-

It is a related to individual firm, company, person, Bank etc. It contains account of all

parties for example - kapoor A/C, Book club pvt ltd A/c State Bank of India A/c etc.

Real Account-

It is related to real things as goods or assets which can be seen, felt and measured and have value attached to them. For example- Cash A/c, Machinery A/c, Building A/c etx.

Nominal Account-

It is related to all expenditure, saving, profit, losses, income, etc. Made by a company or firm. For example- Saving A/c, Income A/c etc.
